Making a full screen photography website compatible on all screens.

So I'm busy developing a photography website and I'm pretty new to Muse. I've stumbled on quite a few problems and I don't know where to start!

Firstly, I'm trying to make my website full screen. So far so good, but my first issue is that my menu bar messes up when the browser window is too small. The size of the menu bar doesn't adapt to the browser window as I would like it to. Screenshot 1 shows it.

The second issue is that, depending on the  size of the computer's display and the browser (Safari, Chrome etc.), certain objects change position. It's very annoying because the design is pretty precise. Now as I said, I'm new to Muse and I've been trying to design this site without having any browser fill etc. So the objects are completely off in Muse's grid. I don't know why. It doesn't surprise me that it behaves weirdly in the browser, given that it's not logically placed in Muse. But I don't know how to place the objects correctly. Everything I try, fails. Here are screenshots to show what I mean.
