Re: Why does ppi matter for web images? Bug!

True I didn't try copy&paste. I rarely work with c&p in Photoshop anyway.

(edit: I also didn't try Mini Bridge)

The (most) comfortable way, for me, to open one or more images in one project is the place command.

Drag&drop images from browser/explorer into the project's working space is okay too, very simple when it's all from the same directory... a bit of a hassle when it's from different places.

But those two ways result in wrong resolutions if the ppi is not 72ppi.

Opening all images separately in photoshop and drag&drop from there is too much of a hassle for me I'm a lazy person.

(Drag&drop within photoshop is another subject that sometimes is buggy)

Transform is only an option when you know the original resolution of the image. I have several effect images that I use for overlay (image burn, light leek, flares etc.) with different resolutions, which I cannot know all by heart.

Transforming is a poor way.

I could think of an action that sets my project to 72ppi. And all worries gone. As long as I remember to play it beforehand ^^

Maybe even a script that does so automatically.

Best would be when Adobe fixes something there.

P.S.: How come my real name is suddenly displayed here? I always had a nickname before.
