I think this is a basic question, but I can't find an answer in any of the multicam workflow articles.
I have created multicam source sequences for interviews using clips from 2 different cameras. I have been editing with these clips, successfully switching from one angle to the other in the video tracks. However, I'm not sure how to deal with the audio. The multicam clips only have two audio files, but I'd like to be able to use all four tracks of audio when I do my final audio mixing. Ideally, I would finish editing, and then "un-nest" my multicam source sequence clips on the timeline so that I could see all the audio and video tracks separately. Is this possible?
When I unlink the clips in my timeline and then double click on an audio track to see exactly what track it is, it opens up the multicam source sequence in a new timeline with all the tracks separated. I would like the tracks to separate on the timeline in which I am editing, though.
I hope I am being clear. Thanks for your help.
