Heya,
When digital painting I use Alt to sample colors with the brush tool, however this also activates the menu bar each time. When I try to change tools, photoshop is waiting for a legitimate alt+key command and plays the error sound, forcing me to click through 2 falsely opened menus or press alt until I see the menu is no longer activated. Is there any way (within photoshop or otherwise) that I can deactivate the alt key opening menus yet having it still retain it's ability and hotkeys within photoshop? You'd think something as often used and integral as using alt with the brush tool wouldn't force you to move through multiple menus each time you use it... Any help?
Running Win 8.1 and PS CS6.
