What video card/graphics card does your computer operating system use? NVIDIA GeForce?

Does the problem exist with the antivirus program disabled?

Please delete the Adobe Premiere Elements Prefs file. I believe that the path to it in Mac should be

Libraries/Users/User Name/Library/Application Support/Adobe/Premiere Elements/10.0.

Have you check your permissions, Administrative?

Latest version of QuickTime installed?

After that uninstall, ccleaner run through, and reinstall with antivirus and firewalls disabled.
