1 start with any image
2 Ctrl+J duplicate bkg
3 Layer-New fill layer-solid color - white
4 Ctrl + [ move below
5 Use Rectangle tool - make shape, no stroke --- long vertical rectangle on left side
6 select "layer 1"
7 creat clipping mask
8 select "rectangle 1" layer
9 Ctrl +T free transform, spin slightly
10 Apply Styles Fx
drop shadow - opacity 20, angle 132, distance 10, no global light
color overlay Blend "Hue" orange
stroke position inside, color white
11 select "Layer 1" and "rectangle 1" together
12 Ctrl + G and make Group label Group 1
13 Ctrl + J duplicate group rename Group 2
14 Ctrl + [ move below Group 1
15 Open group 2
16 select layer "rectangle 1" use "Path Selection Tool" to move strip to right
17 Ctrl + T to spin slightly
18 select "color overlay effects" change color to green
19 close Group 2
20 select bkg layer
21 stop recording.
there should produce two strips side by side with different orientation and color on a white background.
I am using Photoshop 2014 x64 on a win 7/64 machine.
