Thank you for posting this; yesterday I had a rep that did not have a clue and simply decided to end the session without the Lightroom issue resolve. I see now it is a licensing issue of some type and for a reason I guess only Adobe knows.
I did not have to sign back in to adobe desktop to cure this, only had to click on Lightroom 5.5 and then signed in. The strange part was the message I received was Photoshop cc is now licensed, but it was working perfectly. Again thank you very much for your post.
